Our Sixth Form retention figures will be published here when they become available in February 2024. 

GCSE English and maths progress measure

The college has a small number of students who do not achieve their GCSE in English and/or Maths at grade 'C' at the end of key stage 4. 

These students are required to continue to study this qualification in the Sixth Form.  The table below shows the progress made by these students.  A positive score, as shown, means that, on average, students got higher grades in Sixth Form than at the end of key stage 4.  The majority of students who retake their GCSE in Maths and/or English achieve a grade 'C' by the end of Year 13.
