National Careers Week 2025
We enjoyed a number of exciting events during National Careers Week including visits from guest speakers Colas Rail, Oliveti Construction, the RAF and the British Army, plus we looked at Careers in the classroom and linking jobs to individual subjects.

On International Women's Day a number of our Year 12 & 13 female students headed up to Magna Park for a fantastic 'Careers in Logistics' event organised by the Magna Park Community Liaison Team and held at the 'Iron Mountain' site .
Year 10 Careers Day - 6th February 2025
A fabulous day was had when our Year 10's participated in a Careers Day here at Lutterworth College on Thursday 6th February. It was a great opportunity for students to hear from local employers & industry experts about their possible Post 16 and Post 18 options. Year 10's really got involved and were a credit to the school.
The employers & experts who joined us on the day included Morgan Sindall Construction, the RAF, Asda Logistics, Watling JCB, Third Kind Games, Hinckley & Rugby Building Society, Leicestershire Police, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service, HOET Hair & Beauty Team and SMB College Group. A huge thank you to you all involved!
We had some great feedback from the RAF who played a big part in the day's activities:-
"The staff I met were without doubt a credit to Lutterworth College and the students where extremely well behaved and I enjoyed the interaction that we had with them. I hope they took something from the time they spent with myself and the rest of the team. If not joining the RAF just looking within themselves to be the best they can be!"
