6 (school) weeks until examinations start! EASTER 100!
We're sure that Year 11 & Year 13 students do not need reminding that their public examinations start in six (short) school weeks and run through to the end of June. Staff & students continue to rigorously prepare in these last few critical weeks.
A reminder in this blog that there is an expectation that all Year 11 & Year 13 students plan & undertake a minimum 100 hours of study, revision and examination prepartion over Easter to ensure the very best outcomes in the summer.
Canopy Gardens Project
Many thanks to all parents who have been donating via Parentpay to our Canopy Gardens project - we know that in the first week we received over £600 in contributions but we know that we will need even more if we are to make this project a reality so please keep contributing and if you haven't done so yet, we would welcome any contributions towards this essential project..

The next meeting of FOLC is Wednesday 21st March 2018 (6pm-8pm) in the Q Zone above the school library. We welcome all previous and new attendees - especially if you have some great ideas for our fundraising projects.

Lanyards & ID cards
It is vital that students have their ID cards with them at all times not least in order to purchase food.
We are going to move to a strictly 'no card no sale' policy in the canteens after Easter. We will be issuing new ID card holders and lanyards to all those that need them; and these will be written back into the school uniform policy.
